The puzzles are interesting, the characters cute, the UI well made. Yet, you don't play much as there are a lot of non-interactive dialogs and cutscenes.
does not workm. it bug sometimes on the create profile. also puzzle1 is not intuitive and mobile take a lot to process. videos are unskippable which is hprrible.
What's wrong with this game? Takes forever to even start playing, forces you to have an account with them to be able to save the state, nonsense endless screens... Just discouraged to use it at all. I wonder what's the whole buzz about it.
Wish people knew what a visual novel game was.. This is great. Obviously like the DS game in every way. Amazing graphics. Great storyline. Great puzzles.

Downloaded this because i loved the Layton series in the past. After finishing the first case i found out all other cases need to be purchased... Deleted the game . Maybe make a premium version with all features unlocked.
This game SUCKS. I love Professor Layton and completed all the DS games but this is just too much chatting and barely any riddles, plus the riddles are all just boring math questions. Wouldn't pay for the full game.

The game is probably very good, but I never tried as I was unable to paste the password from my password app to link my device. Yes I could have viewed it somewhere else and manually tired it in, but that's not really helpful is it!! Uninstalled.

Love it good game. If it glitches just close it completely then restart.. all should be good. It's so kawaii.
The humor doesn't translate too well, and the puns are pretty ham-fisted. The quirky storyline is more believable at least given the light hearteness of this series, and I'm super glad Alfendi didn't get retconned out.Crossing fingers for a Mystery Room 2 sometime in the future.

Non stop dialogue... almost no gameplay. Ridiculous game, uninstalled.
Personally I played these games as much for the puzzles as for the story, so I don't mind the dialogues, it just paints a better picture.What I don't like is the cliffhanger I'm left with, We're led to think we'll find what happened with professor from the very start and then even after playing such a big game you're left with nothing in the end. No progress with love angle of earnest or mystery of professor! I believed they would atleast solve the dog's mystery but they made a humor out of it😨
So much senseless chitchat that you can't skip, unable to save the progress exactly when you want to, and not enough puzzles. Would have been great if they focused more on the puzzles and the adventure. The navigation is also time consuming.
It's a good game but you only get one case for free and then your expected to pay over £5. 49 for each of the cases afterwards which is rather expensive!
As everyone else says way way too much dialogue which you're unable to skip so constantly tapping the screen to get through it as quickly as possible to finally get to a puzzle which you can play. Even then there's only a couple and they're pretty basic. Dialogue definitely ruins the whole game and now puts me off trying any of the other non free games for fear of the same.
